Sausage, Egg & Cheese Bisquick Muffins
Easy, hearty breakfast muffins made with Bisquick, savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese. Perfect for meal prep and grab-and-go mornings!
🛒 Ingredients
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
½ cup milk
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break into small crumbles. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
2️⃣ Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
3️⃣ Mix the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
Stir in Bisquick, pepper, and garlic powder until just combined.
Fold in cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and green onions (if using).
4️⃣ Fill the Muffin Tin
Spoon mixture evenly into muffin cups, filling about ¾ full.
5️⃣ Bake
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6️⃣ Cool & Serve
Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve warm!
