Lemon Truffles
Creamy, bright, and melt-in-your-mouth with a sweet citrus kick — perfect for parties or gifting!
🛒 Ingredients:
1 cup white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)
3 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Zest of 1 lemon
1½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
Optional coating ideas: shredded coconut, crushed graham crackers, or melted white chocolate.
👩🍳 Instructions:
Melt the base
In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the heavy cream and butter (do not boil).
Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate until fully melted and smooth.
Add lemon flavor
Mix in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
Chill the mixture
Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours, until firm enough to scoop.
Shape the truffles
Scoop small portions and roll into balls using your hands.
Coat
Roll each truffle in powdered sugar (or your preferred coating).
Chill again
Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
