Zesty Italian Chicken
A bright, flavorful chicken dish packed with herbs, garlic, and lemony goodness—perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!
🛒 Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (about 1 oz) Italian dressing mix (zesty style)
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Italian dressing mix, garlic, oregano, black pepper, and paprika.
Marinate the Chicken
Place chicken in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over the chicken.
Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (2–4 hours for best flavor).
Cook the Chicken
Grill Method:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Grill chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place chicken in a baking dish and pour remaining marinade over top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
Skillet Method:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken 6–8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Finish & Serve
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
