Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Parmesan Shells
Juicy, seared steak bites tossed in garlic butter served over rich, creamy Parmesan pasta shells — comfort food with restaurant flavor!
🧾 Ingredients
🥩 For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:
1½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-size cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
🍝 For the Creamy Parmesan Shells:
8 oz (225 g) medium pasta shells
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup reserved pasta water (if needed)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
Bring salted water to a boil.
Cook shells according to package instructions.
Reserve ¼ cup pasta water before draining.
Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak Bites
Pat steak dry (important for a good sear).
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak bites in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
Sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic.
Spoon garlic butter over steak for 1–2 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle parsley.
3️⃣ Make Creamy Parmesan Shells
In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Add cooked shells and toss to coat.
Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen sauce.
🍽️ Serve
Spoon creamy shells onto plates and top with garlic butter steak bites. Drizzle extra pan butter over everything.
