Pork Chop Supreme
Creamy, hearty, and packed with flavor — tender pork chops baked over thin potatoes in a rich onion-mushroom sauce. Pure comfort food!
🧾 Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops
4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ Layer the Potatoes
Arrange thinly sliced potatoes evenly in the bottom of the dish.
Lightly season with black pepper.
3️⃣ Add the Pork Chops
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side (just to brown).
Place chops on top of the potatoes.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, and onion soup mix until smooth.
Pour evenly over pork chops and potatoes.
5️⃣ Bake
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, until potatoes are tender and pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
Optional: uncover, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake 5–10 more minutes until melted and bubbly.
