Oven Fried Potatoes & Onions
Crispy edges, tender centers, and sweet caramelized onions — simple ingredients, big flavor!
🛒 Ingredients
2 lbs russet potatoes, sliced into thin rounds
1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2️⃣ Season
In a large bowl, toss sliced potatoes and onions with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Mix until everything is evenly coated.
3️⃣ Arrange
Spread the mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Avoid overcrowding — use two pans if needed for crispier results.
4️⃣ Bake
Bake for 30–40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook until potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
5️⃣ Finish
Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
Taste and adjust salt if needed.
