🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
400 g (14 oz) spaghetti
150 g (5 oz) bacon, chopped
200 g (7 oz) smoked sausage, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 zucchini, sliced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
1 cup spinach (optional)
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup pasta water (reserved)
👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Boil spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions
    Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside
  2. Cook Bacon & Sausage
    In a large skillet over medium heat:
    Cook bacon until crispy
    Remove and set aside
    In the same pan, cook smoked sausage until browned
  3. Sauté Vegetables
    Add onion and garlic to the pan
    Cook until fragrant (about 2 minutes)
    Add bell pepper, zucchini, and corn
    Sauté for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender
  4. Combine Everything
    Return bacon to the pan
    Add cherry tomatoes and spinach
    Stir in paprika, black pepper, chili flakes, and salt
  5. Add Pasta
    Toss in cooked spaghetti
    Pour in reserved pasta water
    Mix well until everything is coated and heated through
  6. Finish
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese
    Toss and serve hot
