Creamy Garlic Chicken Bake
📝 Ingredients
2 lbs (900 g) chicken breast, diced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
½ cup (120 ml) chicken broth
1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning (or oregano + basil)
½ tsp paprika (optional)
1 cup spinach (optional)
🥣 Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat to 190°C (375°F).
Lightly grease a baking dish. - Season & Sear Chicken
Season diced chicken with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes until lightly golden (not fully cooked). - Make Garlic Cream Sauce
In the same pan:
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds
Pour in chicken broth and cream
Stir in Italian seasoning and paprika
Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened - Assemble
Place chicken in the baking dish.
Pour the creamy garlic sauce over it.
Add spinach if using.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. - Bake
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden, and chicken is fully cooked. - Serve
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
