3 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp butter
For the Biscuit Layer
1½–2 cups crushed biscuits (tea biscuits or digestive)
2 tbsp melted butter
🥣 Instructions

  1. Make the Custard Cream
    In a saucepan:
    Whisk milk, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly
    Cook until thick and creamy (5–7 minutes).
    Remove from heat, then stir in butter and vanilla.
  2. Prepare Biscuit Crumbs
    Crush biscuits into fine crumbs
    Mix with melted butter
  3. Assemble
    Pour hot custard into a serving dish
    Smooth the top
    Sprinkle biscuit crumbs evenly over the surface
  4. Chill
    Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until set and slightly firm.
