Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
🧾 Ingredients:
1 can (540–600 g) strawberry pie filling
200 g cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 box vanilla or yellow cake mix (about 400–450 g)
1/2 cup (115 g) butter, melted
1/2 cup milk (optional, for extra moisture)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Prep
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
Lightly grease a baking dish (about 9×13 inch / 23×33 cm) - Layer the strawberries
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the dish - Make cheesecake layer
In a bowl, beat together:
cream cheese
sugar
vanilla
Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberries
(don’t worry about spreading perfectly—it melts beautifully) - Add cake mix
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top
(do NOT mix—this is a “dump cake”!) - Add butter
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix
(Optional) Lightly drizzle milk over dry spots for a softer texture - Bake
Bake for 40–45 minutes, until:
top is golden and slightly crisp
filling is bubbly - Cool & serve
Let cool for at least 10–15 minutes before serving
🍓 Serving:
Serve warm or chilled
Add whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top for extra indulgence
💡 Tips:
Add fresh sliced strawberries for extra fruitiness
Use a mix of strawberry + raspberry filling for more depth
For a crunchier topping, sprinkle chopped nuts or oats before baking
Don’t stir the layers—this creates the signature texture
