Mini Pie with 2-Ingredient Dough (Easy & Versatile)
This quick recipe works for sweet or savory mini pies using just 2 ingredients for the dough. No yeast, no resting, no fuss!
🥧 2-Ingredient Dough
Ingredients
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (thick, unsweetened)
No self-rising flour?
Use 1 cup all-purpose flour + 1½ tsp baking powder + ¼ tsp salt.
🥄 Make the Dough
Mix flour and yogurt in a bowl until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead lightly on a floured surface (1–2 minutes) until smooth.
Divide into 6–8 small balls (for mini pies).
Roll each ball into a thin circle (about 4–5 inches).
🍎 Sweet Mini Pie Filling (Option 1)
1 cup chopped apple (or berries)
1–2 tbsp sugar or honey
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cornstarch
Mix everything together.
🥩 Savory Mini Pie Filling (Option 2)
½ cup cooked meat or veggies
2 tbsp cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: herbs, garlic, onion
🥧 Assemble the Mini Pies
Place filling on one half of each dough circle.
Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
Brush tops with:
Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water), or
Milk for browning
🔥 Bake
Oven: 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes, until golden
Air fryer: 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes
