🛒 Ingredients
2 x 400 g puff pastry sheets (store-bought, thawed if frozen)
3–4 teaspoons mustard (Dijon or whole grain works best)
150 g hard mozzarella cheese, grated
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Prepare the Pastry
Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Spread 1½–2 teaspoons of mustard evenly over the surface (thin layer).
Sprinkle half of the grated mozzarella evenly on top.
3️⃣ Layer
Place the second puff pastry sheet directly on top.
Gently press down to seal.
4️⃣ Cut & Shape
You can choose your style:
Option A – Twists (Most Popular):
Cut into 1–2 cm strips.
Twist each strip and place on baking tray.
Option B – Squares or Sticks:
Cut into small squares or rectangular sticks.
5️⃣ Bake
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
6️⃣ Cool Slightly & Serve
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm when the cheese is melty and the pastry is crisp.
