OMG DONT LOSE IT! These Rice Krispie Chocolate Chip Cookies are the perfect mix of crunch and chew with a twist you won’t believe!
You will need:
1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until smooth. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until combined. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
