Cheesy Garlic Bread Bites

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (optional, for added crispiness)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mixed dried herbs)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the cheese mixture:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, eggs, almond flour (if using), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until a sticky dough forms.
  1. Shape the mixture:
  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly onto the parchment-lined baking tray. Use a spatula to flatten it into a thin, even layer.
  1. Bake the base:
  • Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15–18 minutes or until the edges start turning golden brown.
  1. Slice into squares:
  • Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the baked cheese mixture into bite-sized squares.
  1. Final bake:
  • Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes to crisp up the edges.
  1. Serve:
  • Let the bites cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor if desired.
