Cabbage and Egg Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
- 1/2 medium cabbage, thinly sliced
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive oil)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce (optional, for flavor)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients:
- Thinly slice the cabbage and beat the eggs in a small bowl.
- Cook the eggs:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble until just cooked. Remove the eggs from the pan and set them aside.
- Stir-fry the cabbage:
- In the same pan, add the remaining oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the sliced cabbage and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.
- Combine and season:
- Return the scrambled eggs to the pan and mix them with the cabbage.
- Add soy sauce (if using), salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
- Serve:
- Transfer the stir-fry to a plate and garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve as a light main dish or a side.
