Italian Almond Cookies

Ingredients:

– 2 cups (200 g) almond flour

– 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

– Zest of 1 orange

– 2 large egg whites

– 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– Powdered sugar, for dusting

Directions:

1. **Preheat the oven:** Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. **Mix the dry ingredients:** In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, granulated sugar, orange zest, and salt. Stir well to combine.

3. **Beat the egg whites:** In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
