1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup pineapple juice (or orange juice)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)
2 tbsp butter, sliced
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Ham
Remove packaging and place ham flat-side down in the crockpot.
If needed, trim slightly so the lid closes securely.
2️⃣ Make the Glaze
In a bowl, mix:
Brown sugar
Honey
Pineapple juice
Dijon mustard
Cinnamon & cloves
Stir until well combined.
3️⃣ Glaze & Cook
Rub about half the glaze over the ham and between the slices.
Pour remaining glaze over the top.
Place butter slices on top.
Cook on:
Low: 4–5 hours
High: 2–3 hours
Ham is ready when heated through (internal temp 140°F / 60°C).
4️⃣ Thicken (Optional)
If you want a thicker glaze:
Remove 1 cup of liquid from crockpot.
Simmer in a saucepan 5–8 minutes until reduced and syrupy.
Brush over ham before serving.
🍍 Flavor Variations
Add pineapple rings on top for extra sweetness.
Replace honey with maple syrup.
Add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar for balance.
