Ingredients:
Cream Layer:
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Berry Mixture:
2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Layers:
1 package ladyfingers (or sponge cake, cut into strips)
1/2 cup orange juice or berry juice
Garnish (Optional):
Extra berries
Mint leaves
Powdered sugar
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Berry Mixture:
Combine the mixed berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl. Let the mixture sit for 10–15 minutes to release juices.
2️⃣ Make the Cream Layer:
In a large bowl, beat together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
3️⃣ Assemble the Trifle:
Briefly dip ladyfingers into the orange or berry juice.
Layer soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a trifle dish or individual glasses.
Add a layer of mascarpone cream, followed by a layer of the berry mixture.
Repeat the layers until the dish is full, ending with a cream layer on top.
4️⃣ Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend.
5️⃣ Garnish and Serve:
Top with extra berries, mint leaves, and a dusting of powdered sugar before serving.
