Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Maple Garlic Sauce:
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Directions 🍴
Prepare Chicken:
In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Cook Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in maple syrup, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine:
Return chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
