Introduction
Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine is a rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken tossed with buttery garlic and coated in a silky Alfredo sauce. Served with Linguine, it’s a perfect meal for family dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Chicken
1 lb boneless, skinless Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons Olive oil
Salt and Black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pasta
12 oz Linguine
Water and salt for boiling
Alfredo Sauce
3 tablespoons Butter
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1½ cups Heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
Optional Additions
½ cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
½ teaspoon chili flakes for a little heat
Extra parmesan for serving
Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the Chicken
    Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook the Chicken
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter Base
    In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
    Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine Everything
    Add the cooked chicken and linguine to the skillet. Toss well so the pasta is coated with the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Garnish and Serve
    Sprinkle with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
    Tips for Success
    Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
    Reserve a little pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
    Cook pasta just until al dente so it doesn’t become mushy.
