Yogurt Cake

🍰 Yogurt Cake (“Forget Banana Bread, This Is My New Fav!”)
🧾 Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt (full-fat for best texture)
3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of 1 lemon (optional but amazing)
Pinch of salt
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven
Set to 180°C (350°F).
Grease or line a loaf pan or small cake pan.
Mix wet ingredients
In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy.
Add yogurt, oil, and vanilla—mix until smooth.
Combine dry ingredients
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Make the batter
Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture.
Add lemon zest if using.
Bake
Pour into pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool
Let cool before slicing.
