2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
Boil macaroni in salted water until just al dente (slightly undercooked).
    Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the creamy sauce
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes (this makes a roux).
Slowly add milk and cream, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
Cook until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add cheese & seasoning
    Reduce heat to low.
Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
Add salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Combine
Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and mix well.
Pour into a greased baking dish.
  5. Make topping
Mix breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan.
Sprinkle evenly over the mac and cheese.
  6. Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
