🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookies

🛒 Ingredients
2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (250g) chocolate chips

- Prep
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. - Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. - Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add egg, extra yolk, and vanilla. Mix well. - Combine
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
Mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
Fold in chocolate chips. - Shape
Scoop dough into balls (about 2 tbsp each).
Place on baking sheet, leaving space between cookies. - Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers look slightly soft. - Cool
Let cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
