🍰 Molhadinho Prestígio Cake
🧾 Ingredients
🍫 Chocolate Cake
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 cup milk
1 cup cocoa powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
🥥 Coconut Filling
1 can (395g) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp butter
🍫 Chocolate Syrup (for soaking)
1 cup milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp sugar
🍫 Chocolate Ganache
200g chocolate (semi-sweet or milk)
1/2 cup heavy cream
👩🍳 Instructions
- Bake the cake
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
Beat eggs + sugar until light
Add oil and milk
Mix in cocoa powder
Add flour, salt, then baking powder
Pour into greased pan
Bake 30–35 minutes (toothpick test) - Make coconut filling
In a saucepan, combine all filling ingredients
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly
Cook until thick and creamy (like brigadeiro)
Let cool slightly - Prepare syrup
Mix all ingredients and warm slightly (don’t boil) - Assemble (the “molhadinho” magic 💦)
Cut cake in half
Soak bottom layer with syrup
Spread coconut filling generously
Add top layer
Soak again with remaining syrup - Add ganache
Heat cream until hot (not boiling)
Pour over chocolate and mix until smooth
Pour over cake
