🥐 Cheesy Shredded Beef Croissant Sandwiches
Ingredients:
8–10 croissants
1 lb (450g) ground beef or shredded cooked beef
1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
½ small onion, finely chopped
½ red bell pepper, diced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
2 tbsp mayonnaise or butter (for spreading)
Instructions:

  1. Cook the filling
    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
    Add onion and bell pepper, sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
    Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  2. Add beef
    If using ground beef: cook until browned, breaking it apart
    If using shredded beef: just heat it through
    Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
    Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare croissants
    Slice croissants in half horizontally (don’t cut all the way through if you want them hinged).
    Lightly spread mayo or butter inside.
  4. Assemble
    Fill each croissant with the beef mixture.
    Top generously with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake
    Place sandwiches on a baking tray.
    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and croissants are warm and slightly crispy.
  6. Serve
    Serve hot while the cheese is gooey and melty 😍
