👨🍳 Instructions
- Cook the apples
In a skillet over medium heat:
Melt butter and add apples
Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice
Cook 8–10 minutes until soft and caramelized
Let cool completely - Make the cream filling
Beat cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks
Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture - Prepare coffee
Mix coffee with sugar (optional) and let cool - Assemble layers
In a dish or springform pan:
Dip ladyfingers quickly in coffee (don’t soak too long)
Layer them on the bottom
Spread a layer of cream
Add a layer of cooked apples
Repeat layers (ladyfingers → cream → apples)
Finish with cream on top - Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours (overnight is best) - Finish & serve
Dust with cinnamon and a little cocoa powder before serving
🌟 Tips
Add caramel drizzle between layers for extra indulgence
Use apple juice instead of coffee for a caffeine-free version
Letting it chill overnight gives the best flavor and texture
