Delicious Creamy Trifle

🧾 Ingredients
🍰 Cake Layer
1 store-bought or homemade sponge cake (or pound cake), cubed
🍮 Cream Layer
2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
🍮 Custard Layer
2 cups (480 ml) prepared vanilla custard (store-bought or homemade)
🍓 Fruit Layer
2 cups mixed fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, etc.)
🍓 Optional Extras
1/2 cup fruit jam or jelly
Shaved chocolate or chocolate chips
Crushed cookies or nuts

- Prepare the cream
Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form - Assemble layers
In a large glass bowl or trifle dish:
Cake layer – add cake cubes
Optional jam – spread lightly for extra flavor
Custard layer – spoon evenly
Fruit layer – add fresh fruit
Whipped cream layer
Repeat layers until the dish is filled - Chill
Refrigerate for 2–4 hours (or overnight) to let flavors blend - Garnish
Top with extra fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate shavings

Use slightly stale cake—it absorbs flavors better
Don’t overload with liquid or it may get soggy
