Cheesy Beef Quesadillas
🧾 Ingredients (3–4 servings)
500 g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
4–6 large flour tortillas
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Mexican blend)
Optional additions:
Sliced bell peppers
Jalapeños
Fresh cilantro
Salsa or hot sauce
👨🍳 Instructions
- Cook the beef
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and cook until soft (2–3 minutes).
Add garlic and cook briefly.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Season with paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook until fully done, then remove from heat. - Assemble quesadillas
Place a tortilla in a clean pan.
Sprinkle cheese on one half.
Add beef mixture evenly.
Top with more cheese (this helps it stick).
Fold the tortilla in half. - Cook
Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until:
golden and crispy
cheese is melted - Slice & serve
Cut into wedges.
Serve hot with your favorite dips.
