🧀🥓 Irresistible Crispy Bacon Mozzarella Poppers with Glaze
Ingredients

Poppers:

12 mozzarella cubes (or small mozzarella balls)
8–10 slices bacon (cut in half)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper

Glaze:

1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions

  1. Prep the mozzarella
    If using fresh mozzarella, pat dry thoroughly
    Freeze for 20–30 minutes (helps prevent melting too fast)
  2. Wrap with bacon
    Wrap each mozzarella piece with bacon
    Secure with a toothpick if needed
  3. Coat for crispiness
    Set up 3 bowls: flour, beaten egg, and panko mixed with garlic powder + pepper
    Dip each wrapped piece: flour → egg → panko
    Press crumbs on firmly
  4. Cook the poppers

Air fryer

200°C (390°F) for 8–10 minutes
Flip halfway through

  1. Make the glaze
    In a small saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, and chili flakes
    Simmer gently until slightly thickened
  2. Finish & serve
    Brush or drizzle glaze over hot poppers
    Serve immediately while cheese is melty inside, enjoy!
