Lemon Lush Dessert
🧾 Ingredients:
Crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Cream Cheese Layer:
225 g cream cheese (softened)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
Lemon Layer:
2 boxes (each ~100 g) instant lemon pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
Topping:
1–2 cups whipped topping
Lemon zest (optional, for garnish)
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Make the crust
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Mix flour, butter, and pecans until crumbly. Press into a 9×13 inch pan.
Bake for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
Cream cheese layer
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over cooled crust.
Lemon pudding layer
Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thick (about 2–3 minutes).
Spread over cream cheese layer.
Top it off
Spread remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).
Serve
Garnish with lemon zest or crushed cookies if desired, then slice and enjoy!
🍋 Tips:
For extra lemon flavor, add a little fresh lemon juice or zest to the pudding.
Use a graham cracker crust instead of flour crust for a no-bake option.
Keep refrigerated—this dessert is best served cold.
