Little Smokies on the Air Fryer
Sweet, salty, and completely addictive.
Things that go into it
1 (14–16 oz) package of little smokies (cocktail sausages)
½ cup of BBQ sauce
1–2 tablespoons of ketchup (optional, for extra sweetness)
1 tbsp of brown sugar
You can add a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika.
Step 1: First, make the sausages crispy.
Put the little smokies in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
At 380°F (193°C), cook for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
They should start to bubble and get a light brown color.
Step 2: Put in the sauce
Take out the basket and add the BBQ sauce. Put the brown sugar and ketchup right on top of the sausages.
Put everything in the basket and shake it up so it’s all covered. It may seem like a lot of sauce, but it gets thicker as it cooks.
Step 3: Cook again
Put the food back in the air fryer and cook it for another 4 to 6 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
Shake the sauce a couple of times so it caramelizes evenly.
The sauce should be shiny and a little thick, and it should stick to each sausage.
Step 4: Serve
Give them a few minutes to cool down. The sauce will get even thicker as it sits.
Put out toothpicks and watch them go.
What You Will Get
