Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna 🍝🧀
This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is one of the easiest comfort meals you can make. Instead of traditional lasagna noodles, cheese-filled ravioli creates delicious layers with meat sauce and melted cheese. Just assemble everything in the slow cooker and let it do the work.
Ingredients
1 bag (25 oz / 700 g) frozen cheese ravioli
1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage
1 jar (24 oz / 680 g) marinara or pasta sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook the meat
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
Mix the sauce
Stir the cooked meat into the marinara sauce and add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Prepare the crockpot
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker.
Layer the ingredients
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of frozen ravioli.
Spoon some ricotta over the ravioli.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan.
Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
Cook
Cover and cook:
Low for 4–5 hours, or
High for 2–3 hours
Rest before serving
Turn off the crockpot and let the lasagna sit for 10–15 minutes before serving so it sets.
Description
The ravioli acts as both the pasta and cheese layer, making this dish incredibly easy. As it cooks slowly, the ravioli absorbs the rich meat sauce while the cheese melts into gooey layers—just like classic lasagna but with much less work.
Optional Additions
1 cup sautéed mushrooms
1 cup spinach
½ cup cream cheese mixed with the ricotta for extra creaminess
Crushed red pepper flakes for a little heat
Tips for Success
No need to thaw the ravioli—use them frozen.
Spray the crockpot well to prevent sticking.
Use Italian sausage instead of beef for a stronger flavor.
