Introduction

Ingredients
1 cup granulated Sugar
6 tablespoons Butter, cut into pieces
½ cup Heavy cream (room temperature)
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Extra sea salt for garnish

Instructions
- Melt the Sugar
Place the sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously with a heat-resistant spatula or whisk until the sugar melts and turns a deep amber color. - Add the Butter
Carefully add the butter and whisk until completely melted. The mixture will bubble rapidly. - Add the Cream
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking constantly. Continue stirring until smooth. - Simmer
Let the caramel simmer for 1 minute to thicken slightly. - Flavor
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and sea salt. - Cool
Allow the caramel to cool for 10–15 minutes. It will thicken as it cools. - Store
Transfer to a clean jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
