🛒 Ingredients
Pastry:
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
Creamy Filling:
4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
Optional Add-ins:
Fresh berries or jam
Chocolate chips
Lemon zest
Egg Wash:
1 egg + 1 tbsp milk
Topping (optional):
Powdered sugar for dusting
👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep oven
    Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
    Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare pastry
    Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into squares (about 3–4 inches each).
  3. Make filling
    In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
    Gently fold in whipped cream for a light, fluffy texture.
  4. Assemble
    Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
    Add berries or chocolate if using.
    Fold corners toward the center or shape as desired.
    Brush edges with egg wash.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Finish
    Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
