🥩 Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet

🛒 Ingredients
1.5 lbs (700g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into bite-sized pieces
1.5 lbs (700g) baby potatoes, halved or quartered
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme (or rosemary)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes
    Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    Cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fork-tender.
    Remove and set aside.
  2. Sear the steak
    In the same pan, add remaining oil and increase heat to high.
    Add steak pieces in a single layer.
    Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned (don’t overcrowd).
    Remove and set aside.
  3. Make garlic butter
    Reduce heat to medium.
    Add butter and garlic; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
    Stir in thyme or rosemary.
  4. Combine
    Return potatoes and steak to the pan.
    Toss everything in the garlic butter until well coated.
  5. Finish
    Taste and adjust seasoning.
    Garnish with fresh parsley.
