🍎 Soft Apple Cake
🧾 Ingredients
2 eggs
2 apples, peeled and diced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup neutral oil (vegetable or sunflower)
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional but recommended)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Set oven to 180°C (350°F)
    Grease or line a small baking pan (8-inch / 20 cm)
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    In a bowl, whisk:
    Eggs
    Sugar
    Add oil and milk, mix until smooth
    Stir in vanilla (if using)
  3. Combine dry ingredients
    In another bowl, mix:
    Flour
    Baking powder
    Cinnamon
    Salt
  4. Make the batter
    Add dry ingredients to wet mixture
    Stir gently until just combined
    Fold in diced apples
  5. Bake
    Pour batter into prepared pan
    Bake 30–40 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean
  6. Cool & serve
    Let cool slightly
    Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature
