Creamy Garlic Chicken Bake
📝 Ingredients
2 lbs (900 g) chicken breast, diced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
½ cup (120 ml) chicken broth
1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning (or oregano + basil)
½ tsp paprika (optional)
1 cup spinach (optional)
🥣 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat to 190°C (375°F).
    Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season & Sear Chicken
    Season diced chicken with salt and pepper.
    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
    Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes until lightly golden (not fully cooked).
  3. Make Garlic Cream Sauce
    In the same pan:
    Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds
    Pour in chicken broth and cream
    Stir in Italian seasoning and paprika
    Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened
  4. Assemble
    Place chicken in the baking dish.
    Pour the creamy garlic sauce over it.
    Add spinach if using.
    Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  5. Bake
    Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden, and chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Serve
    Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

    Don’t overcook the chicken when searing—it finishes in the oven
    Use fresh garlic for the best flavor
    Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a golden cheesy top
