Heaven on Earth Cake
🧾 Ingredients:
1 prepared angel food cake (cut into cubes)
2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups (720 ml) cold milk
1 package (225 g) cream cheese, softened
1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1 can (540 g) cherry pie filling (or strawberry/blueberry)
1 tub (200–250 g) whipped topping (like whipped cream)
Optional: sliced almonds or chocolate shavings for garnish
👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare pudding
    In a bowl, whisk together:
    pudding mix
    cold milk
    Mix until thickened (about 2–3 minutes)
    Set aside
  2. Make cream cheese layer
    In another bowl, beat:
    cream cheese
    powdered sugar
    vanilla (if using)
    Fold in about 1 cup of the whipped topping until smooth
  3. Assemble layers
    In a large dish (9×13 inch / 23×33 cm):
    Layer 1: Half of the angel food cake cubes
    Layer 2: Half of the cherry pie filling
    Layer 3: All of the pudding mixture
    Layer 4: Cream cheese mixture
    Layer 5: Remaining cake cubes
    Layer 6: Remaining pie filling
  4. Top it off
    Spread remaining whipped topping over the top
    Garnish with almonds or chocolate if desired
  5. Chill
    Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best!)
    🍒 Serving:
    Serve cold
    Scoop or slice into squares
