Creamy Baked Minced Meat with Eggs
🧾 Ingredients
800 g ground beef (or mixed beef & lamb)
2 eggs
1 cup milk or cream
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers like in the image)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
1/2 cup grated cheese (optional, for topping)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
👨🍳 Instructions
Prepare the base
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Lightly grease a baking dish.
Layer the crackers
Place a layer of crackers or bread slices at the bottom of the dish (as shown in the image).
Make the meat mixture
In a bowl, mix:
ground meat
onion
garlic
breadcrumbs
salt, pepper, paprika, oregano
Shape the meat
Divide into 2 portions and press them into flat rectangular layers.
Place them on top of the cracker layer.
Add the eggs
Make a small well in each meat portion.
Crack one egg into each hole.
Pour the cream
Gently pour milk or cream around and slightly over the meat.
Optional topping
Sprinkle cheese on top for extra flavor.
Bake
Bake for 35–45 minutes until:
meat is fully cooked
eggs are set
top is slightly golden

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad.
Spoon some of the creamy sauce from the dish over the top.
