Homemade Artisan Bread (No-Knead Style)
🧾 Ingredients:
3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour or bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp instant yeast (or 3/4 tsp active dry yeast)
1 1/2 cups (360 ml) warm water

- Mix the Dough
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast
Add warm water and mix until a sticky dough forms
No kneading needed—just mix until combined - Let It Rise (Slow Fermentation)
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a towel
Let it sit at room temperature for 12–18 hours
Dough should double in size and look bubbly - Shape the Dough
Lightly flour your surface
Gently turn out the dough (it will be sticky)
Fold it over itself a few times and shape into a ball - Second Rest
Place dough on parchment paper
Cover and let rest for 30–60 minutes - Preheat Oven & Pot
Place a heavy pot with lid (like a Dutch oven) inside
Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F) for at least 20–30 minutes - Bake
Carefully place the dough (with parchment) into the hot pot
Cover and bake for 30 minutes
Remove lid and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden brown - Cool
Let bread cool on a rack for at least 20 minutes before slicing

Use a covered pot to trap steam → creates crispy crust
Don’t skip long rise → develops deep flavor
