Easy Puff Pastry Ham & Cheese Appetizer

📝 Ingredients
400 g (14 oz) puff pastry
150 g (5 oz) ham, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
150 g (5 oz) cheese, grated (mozzarella, cheddar, or mix)
1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
15 g (1 tbsp) parsley, chopped
25 g (2 tbsp) dill, chopped
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix:
Chopped ham
Minced garlic
Grated cheese
Parsley
Dill
Stir until well combined.
3️⃣ Assemble
Roll out puff pastry slightly if needed.
Spread the filling evenly over the pastry.
Roll tightly into a log (like a Swiss roll).
OR
Fold pastry in half over the filling and press edges to seal for turnovers.
4️⃣ Slice
Cut into 2–3 cm (1-inch) pieces.
Place on prepared baking tray.
Brush tops with beaten egg.
5️⃣ Bake
Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
6️⃣ Serve
Let cool slightly.
Serve warm for the best cheesy texture.
