Fluffy Cottage Cheese Cloud Bread ☁️
Ingredients
3 large eggs, separated
½ cup cottage cheese
¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder
½ teaspoon salt
Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder or Italian seasoning for savory flavor
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Separate the eggs into two bowls.
Put the yolks in one bowl.
Put the whites in another clean, dry bowl.
Blend the cottage cheese, egg yolks, salt, and cornstarch until smooth.
Add the cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the cottage cheese mixture into the whipped egg whites. Do not overmix or the batter will lose its fluffiness.
Spoon the mixture into small round clouds on the prepared tray.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
