Tortilla Wraps with Ground Beef (Easy & Flavorful)
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 lb (500 g) ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon chili powder (optional for heat)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ cup tomato sauce or diced tomatoes
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 tomato, diced
¼ cup sour cream (optional)
Sliced avocado or guacamole (optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
2️⃣ Season & Simmer
Add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart.
Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Add tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes until thick and flavorful.
3️⃣ Warm the Tortillas
Heat tortillas in a dry pan for 20–30 seconds per side or microwave for 20 seconds.
4️⃣ Assemble the Wraps
Spoon beef mixture into the center of each tortilla.
Top with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and avocado.
5️⃣ Wrap & Serve
Fold the sides in, roll tightly, and serve immediately.
(Optional: Toast in a pan 1–2 minutes per side for a crispy wrap.)
