Ultra Creamy Banana Milk Mousse
Light, fluffy, silky-smooth, and bursting with fresh banana flavor — this no-bake dessert is simple but feels fancy!
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
2 ripe bananas (very ripe = sweeter & more flavor)
1 cup cold whole milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
1/3 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
3 tbsp cold water
Optional:
Crushed vanilla wafers (for layering)
Banana slices (for garnish)
Chocolate shavings
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Bloom the Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water.
Let sit 5 minutes to bloom.
Microwave 10–15 seconds until dissolved (do not boil).
2️⃣ Blend the Banana Base
In a blender combine:
Bananas
Milk
Powdered sugar
Vanilla
Blend until completely smooth.
3️⃣ Combine Gelatin
With blender running, slowly pour in the dissolved gelatin.
Blend briefly to combine.
4️⃣ Whip the Cream
In a chilled bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
5️⃣ Fold Together
Gently fold the banana mixture into the whipped cream until smooth and airy.
Do not overmix — keep it fluffy.
6️⃣ Chill
Spoon into serving cups.
Refrigerate at least 2–3 hours until set.
