Air Fryer Poached Eggs

Air Fryer Poached Eggs (Ramekin Method)
🛒 What You’ll Need (Serves 4)
4 large eggs
4 oven-safe ramekins (ceramic or glass)
4 teaspoons water (1 teaspoon per ramekin)
Non-stick spray or a little oil
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare the Ramekins
Lightly grease each ramekin with non-stick spray or oil.
Add 1 teaspoon of water into each ramekin (this helps steam the egg for a poached texture).
3️⃣ Add the Eggs
Crack one egg into each ramekin.
Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
4️⃣ Air Fry
Carefully place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness:
5 minutes → soft, runny yolk
6 minutes → medium yolk
7 minutes → firmer yolk
(Check at 5 minutes, as air fryers vary.)
5️⃣ Remove & Serve
Carefully remove ramekins (they’ll be hot).
Run a small spoon around the edges and gently slide the egg out if desired.
Serve immediately over toast, avocado, salad, or breakfast bowls.
✨ Tips for Best Results
If whites aren’t fully set, cook 30–60 seconds longer.
For easier removal, you can add a little extra water (1½ teaspoons).
Cover loosely with foil if the top cooks too quickly.
