🧾 Ingredients (serves 6–8)
500 g (1 lb) ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 can (300 g) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (300 g) cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but recommended)
1 tbsp butter (for greasing)

  1. Cook the noodles
    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
    Cook egg noodles until just tender (al dente), then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the beef mixture
    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
    Add chopped onion and garlic, cook until softened.
    Drain excess fat.
  3. Make the creamy sauce
    In a bowl, mix:
    Cream of mushroom soup
    Cream of chicken soup
    Milk
    Paprika, salt, and pepper
  4. Combine everything
    Add cooked noodles to the beef mixture.
    Pour in the sauce and stir until well combined.
  5. Assemble the casserole
    Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
    Grease a baking dish with butter.
    Pour the mixture into the dish and spread evenly.
    Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top (if using).
  6. Bake
    Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
    Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

    Add vegetables like peas, corn, or mushrooms for extra texture
    Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken
    Top with crispy fried onions or breadcrumbs for crunch
