Southern 4-Ingredient Honey Butter
🧾 Ingredients:
½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
¼ cup honey
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Soften the butter
Let the butter sit at room temperature until soft and easy to mix.
Mix everything together
In a bowl, combine butter, honey, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
Whip until fluffy
Use a hand mixer (or whisk) to beat until smooth, creamy, and light.
Taste & adjust
Add a little more honey if you want it sweeter.
Serve or store
Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container. Let soften slightly before using.
💡 Tips:
Add a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter for a sweet-salty balance.
Great on warm biscuits, pancakes, cornbread, or even sweet potatoes.
