🧾 Ingredients
1 box angel food cake mix (just the dry mix, about 430 g / 15–16 oz)
1 can (565 g / 20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice (do not drain)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Lightly grease or line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan.
Mix:
In a large bowl, combine the dry cake mix and the entire can of crushed pineapple (juice included).
Stir gently until fully combined. The batter will be foamy.
Bake:
Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden on top and set in the center.
Cool:
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
✨ Optional Add-Ons (if you want to upgrade)
Dust with powdered sugar
Top with whipped cream or coconut cream
Sprinkle shredded coconut on top before baking
Add a handful of white chocolate chips for sweetness
💡 Tips
Do not add eggs, oil, or water—the pineapple provides all the moisture
Use crushed pineapple, not chunks, for best texture
Store covered at room temp for 1–2 days or refrigerate up to 5 days
