Basic Loaf Pan Cheesecake
📝 Ingredients
For the crust:
1 cup crushed graham crackers (or digestive biscuits)
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons melted butter
For the filling:
450 g cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sour cream (or plain yogurt)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon flour (optional, for stability)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the pan
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper (leave some overhang for easy removal).
Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F). - Make the crust
Mix crushed biscuits, sugar, and melted butter.
Press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool. - Make the filling
Beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add sugar and mix well.
Add eggs one at a time (don’t overmix).
Mix in sour cream, vanilla, and flour. - Bake
Pour filling over the crust.
Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, until center is slightly jiggly. - Cool slowly
Turn off oven, leave door slightly open, and let cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).
