Fried Potatoes and Onions
Golden, crispy potatoes with sweet caramelized onions — simple, classic comfort food 😍🔥
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
4 medium russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
1 large onion (yellow or sweet), sliced
3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
2 tbsp butter (for extra flavor)
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

🥔 1️⃣ Prep the Potatoes
Peel potatoes (optional) and slice into thin rounds or small cubes.
For extra crispiness, soak in cold water for 15–20 minutes, then drain and pat completely dry.
🔥 2️⃣ Start Frying
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add potatoes in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
Cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until starting to brown.
🧅 3️⃣ Add Onions
Add sliced onions and butter.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Continue cooking 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are golden and tender and onions are caramelized.
